This reclaimed wood dining table is 3′ by 6.5′ and will accommodate six diners very comfortably and eight or ten for special events. The easel-like legs give the eco-friendly table a casual, laid-back feel and are recessed to leave ample overhang for seating all around.

The Buoy Crazy Dining Table has the added benefit of durability and water-resistance thanks to its marine-grade teak construction. The paint is protected with an organic water-based sealant. That means that you can use the table daily without worrying about spills and wipe-ups, and it makes a perfect addition to outdoor dining areas. Just imagine it underneath a pergola decorated with twinkle lights for meals on summer evenings.

EcoChic reclaimed wood furnishings are handcrafted from Southeast Asian fishing boats. The wood originally comes from teak plantations in Java, which are managed for sustainability by a state-owned forestry company. Because the wood is marine-grade, it is more durable and resistant to moisture and condensation, and it adapts to changes in weather and season.

The reclaimed wood used in EcoChic pieces is selected by hand from fishing boats that are no longer water-safe. We only use boards that are 100% straight and intact, with no warping or damage. The unique weathered paint is preserved and enhanced through careful cutting and sanding. To protect its color and texture, we finish every piece with a water-based organic semi-gloss sealant.

Some EcoChic furnishings are accented with fresh white paint — we use Benjamin Moore Natura, a 100% acrylic paint with zero VOCs (volatile organic compounds) and zero emissions. Some pieces also use reclaimed iron that comes from dismantled bridges.

Cleaning is simple — just wipe gently with soap and water. Do not use strong liquid cleaners.

EcoChic furnishings, made from highly durable marine-grade reclaimed wood, are naturally water-resistant and stand up well to heavy use. As a result, our pieces are perfect for outdoor spaces and for high-wear interior applications like tabletops and seating.

Each piece is treated with a water-based organic semi-gloss finish. Low in harmful VOCs (volatile organic compounds), this sealant is comparable to oil-based varnish for its high resistance to abrasion, water, and solvents. As the sealant cures, the molecules become cross-linked in a lattice-like pattern that is much more durable than the single-strand bonds formed by conventional water-based finishes. The semi-gloss sealant gives surfaces a very slight shine.

Every EcoChic piece is one-of-a-kind because our reclaimed fishing boat wood is a natural and unique material that can’t be duplicated. Our product images capture the essentials of each piece, but they can’t show all the possible variations in wood grain, color, texture, and overall appearance.

To create consistency between pieces, we combine the boatwood we find into color schemes. When you order a product from a particular color scheme, you can be confident that the product you receive will look similar in color, although not identical, to the one pictured. Two pieces from the same color scheme will coordinate nicely. And of course, you can mix and match between color schemes as well.
