The television is often the focal point of a room, the center of attention around which everything else is oriented. The Channel Surf Console deserves every bit of that attention. This reclaimed wood cabinet is a dramatic work of art in its own right.
The story opens on the seas of Southeast Asia, where colorful fishing boats line the coast. These vessels are built from marine-grade teak, which is harvested on the sustainable plantations of Indonesia. After decades of service, when they are no longer seaworthy, the boats come to us for their second act.
Our craftspeople take the dismantled planks and transform them into stylish eco-friendly furnishings by hand. This piece is designed to offer a variety of storage with both shelves and enclosed cabinets. No detail is overlooked, down to the reclaimed wood pulls on the cabinet doors. We finish every surface with an organic water-based sealant for extra protection.
Media consoles can be plain and utilitarian, but not the Channel Surf. The contrast of the pristine white framing and the rugged weathered boards is eye-catching. Guests will be tempted to run their hands over wood that was once warmed by the sun and tossed on the waves.
The Channel Surf Console has a low profile and accommodates televisions up to 60”. With solid wood construction, the water-resistant cabinet is strong and durable in indoor and outdoor conditions. No further assembly is needed.
